Helen Kobuszewski Santorum, 94, of Syracuse, passed on April 23rd. Helen worked for the Board of Elections, Sacred Heart Rectory and Sacred Heart School Cafeteria. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Mother’s Club and Rosary Society.

Helen was predeceased by her husband Richard “Red” Santorum; her parents Walter and Mary Kobuszewski; sister Virginia Kobuszewski, and brothers Leonard Kobuszewski and Robert Kobuszewski. She is survived by her daughters Debbie (Denny) O’Connell and Pam (Mike) Carno, and her grandchildren Ryan O’Connell, Michael O’Connell, Michael Carno and Theresa Carno. She is also survived by sisters Pauline Palmieri, Bernadine Braun, brothers Reverend Thomas Kobuszewski and Charles Kobuszewski, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Helen especially enjoyed her lunches with Frances and Shirley, and her visits with Judy. 

Her Family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Camillus, especially the caring nurses from C-Unit, her “Angels in Scrubs”.
