Obituary of Patricia White

Patricia White, 61 passed away on 3/17/22 at Onondaga Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. She was the partner of Shawn Hand.  They shared 22 years of partnership together.

Patricia was born in Syracuse, NY.  She was the daughter of Grace Davis.  She graduated Blodgette Junior High School and got her LPN certification from BOCES. Patricia was employed by Upstate ENT for around seven years as an MA “Medical Assistant” and moonlighted as an LPN for Van Duyn.

She enjoyed taking care of her pond and gardening at the house she shared with her partner. In her spare time she would do crafts, including jewelry making and do it yourself projects kits. When she was not working she enjoyed going shopping at garage sales with her daughter and hanging out with family on the river at her son and daughter-in-law’s house feeding the wild life. Her forever passion was animals, she never turned away strays in need of a home.  Patricia will be remembered for her spitfire attitude, never taking no for an answer, and at the drop of a hat would try to help anyone in need.

She is survived by her partner Shawn Hand, her son Jason White, his wife Kimberly White, her daughter Tabitha White, her partner Matt Jones, and grandkids, Ean Lockwood, Alexis Reome, Madison Kane, and Zachary Kane.  She was predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters along with her mother Grace Davis.

The calling hours will be held at Hollis Funeral Home on Wednesday March 23, 2022 at 5:30pm followed by a service at 6:00pm
