Obituary of Harold Christopher Boland

November 12, 2007 Harold Christopher Boland, 100 of Syracuse, passed away Monday November 12th, 2007. Harold was born on October 29th, 1907 in Ottawa, Ontario Canada to Robert and Isabella Kipp Boland. Harold was a member of the cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, member of the Loyal Order of Mosses 625, Honorary Member of the VFW and a member of the Dance Cotillion. Harold was an Army Veteran of WWII; he was a ssigned to the 20th Base post Office but fought in the Rhineland, as a rifle marksman with the 101st Combat infantry unit. He was awarded The Purple Heart on December 18th, 1944. His cousin, Paul Clothier of Syracuse and niece Debra Keatch Boland of NC survive Harold.
