Obituary of William Kramer

Please share a memory of William to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

William J. Kramer, 69, of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022. He was born on October 12, 1952, to George E.S. Kramer and Eleanor (Bennett) Kramer in Syracuse, NY. Bill was a graduate of East Syracuse Minoa Central Schools, and he attended Onondaga Community College and Miami Dade College. He received an Associate in Arts and Bachelor of Science from the University of the State of New York. Bill retired from CNY Developmental Service Office after 30 years, and he truly enjoyed working with the people at DSO. However, anyone who knew Bill, knew that his first love was most certainly music. Whether it was a paid gig, an open mic, or simply entertaining his family and friends, Bill loved singing and playing the guitar (or keyboard). Bill was predeceased by his parents and his brother John F. Kramer. Surviving to cherish Bill's memory are his children: Tricia (Nicholas Borsellino) Wagner of Cazenovia, NY, Robert (Alison) Kramer of Syracuse, NY and Kathleen (Richard) Kolceski of Jamesville, NY. Grandchildren: Gavin Wagner, Sophia Sledge, and Isabella and Liliana Kolceski. Brother: George E.S. (Michael Farr) Kramer II of East Syracuse, NY. Sister: Susan (Donald) Ladd of Mexico, NY. Niece and nephew: Jodi (Timothy) Gorman of Mexico, NY and Donald (Ann Marie) Ladd of Mexico, NY. Also great nieces and nephews: Adora and Timothy Gorman.

Please join us for a party to celebrate Bill's life on March 6, 2022 from 4PM- 6PM at Gilligan's Pub at 3601 James St, Syracuse, NY 13206. In lieu of flowers, please tip your bartender.
