Obituary of Irene Demko

Irene Demko, 81, passed from this life to eternity on Saturday, February 12. She was the wife of the late Edward Demko and is survived by her children, Ted, Rich, Bobby, Mary and Christine, and nine grandchildren, Niko, Teddy, Anthony, Joshua, Julisia, Bobby, Cecelia, Alex and Michaela.

Irene was born in Warszawa, Poland and was the daughter of Franciszek and Genowefa Parobek. She was employed at Syracuse China and Syracuse University and was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family.

Funeral Service will be held in Sacred Heart Basilica, 927 Park Ave. on Wednesday, February 23 at 9:30 AM. Entombment will be at Saint Mary’s Mausoleum, 4100 East Genesee St.
