Obituary of Muriel J Coats

Muriel Jean Coats of Liverpool, NY passed away on October 31, 2021 at the age of 91.  She was predeceased by her husband Archibald James Coats of 47 years.  She was born in Syracuse, NY and employed as a Nurse in 1948 at Syracuse General Hospital for many years until they closed their doors.  

Her most cherished time was spent at home with her children and grandchildren.  Muriel loved being with family.  Christmas was her favorite time of year.  Going on vacations, having Sunday dinners, hosting parties, baking pies, making cookies, and attending the NYS Fair were some of her favorite things to do.

She was the mother of three children Larry (Melinda) Coats, Carolyn (David) Shepard and Stephen (Theresa) Coats.  Six grandchildren Carrie (Andrew) Alsheimer, Amie (Benjamin) Bragdon, Keith Coats, Kimberly Coats (William McLaughlin), Kathleen (Michael) Matthews, and Megan Coats. Five great grandchildren, Jacquelin, Kayla, Jenna, Anthony and Joey and two great great grandchildren Brayden and Peyton.  She is loved and missed by all.
