It’s so difficult to lose a relative, but it’s particularly difficult when one loses an offspring or brother. Sending uplifting vibes to the rest of the family, as well as all friends who will also miss him. Take care, all.

May God ease the pain of Fran's family and friends. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing Fran in a while, but I used to run into him often at a local tavern where I worked through out the 90's into the 2000s. Our conversations were of football, working, family and the days of our youth. He always greeted me with that infectious smile that made you happy that you ran into him. I cherish the memories of our time hanging out at Rosie O'Grady's and talking. I was just talking about those times just last week and was hoping he was well. I am sorry I never got the chance to reminisce with Fran one more time. May God bless Fran's soul and keep him in his family's heart. I will always remember him and as it is said, as long as someone remembers the passed, they are not really gone! Prayers to family and friends!

To Fran's Family
I enjoyed Frans enthusiasm towards our adventures and as we got older Fran impressed me with his recall of events from our childhood.
Frans smile showed up bright & wide when the topics turned to high school sports and all our fellow Westhill classmates.
But I never seen his smile more wider or brighter than when he was talking about his two boys and his sister.
Those who had the chance to witness Fran on the ice still proclaim to this day that Fran had one heck of a slap-shot.
So, I'll miss running into my little Polish Buddy, going to baseball games, hiking in the woods, fishing Nine-mile Creek, and Fran helping me with the ongoing remodeling jobs at my home.
Mrs. Wrobel & David, you & your family are in my thoughts as you grieve this loss.
On behalf of the Reed Family, myself, my wife Ellen Lancaster, our four children, my mother and father, and my four brothers we send our deepest sympathies to all of Frans family and cousins too.
Joseph Reed, Camillus NY

To the family,
I enjoyed Fran very much. He was a good person with a big heart. He was always kind to me and had that wonderful smile each time he saw me. Never heard him say a bad word about anybody. I’m sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers, Coz Costello
