Obituary of Oliver William Ratliff

On March 27, 2021, Oliver William Ratliff III of Memphis, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born on February 14, 1962 in Syracuse, NY to Oliver William Ratliff Jr and Anne Shirley (Lane) Ratliff.

Ollie graduated from Jordan Elbridge Jr. Sr. high school in 1980 where he succeeded in football, lacrosse and wrestling. Ollie was known by everyone as “Rat”. Ollie enjoyed fishing, hunting and living life to the fullest. Ollie was known for his contagious smile and his dedication to his friends and family. Although Ollie will be missed dearly, his family rejoices in the fact they will see him again.

Ollie is preceded by the death of his father Oliver W. Ratliff Jr and his brother Eddie Ratliff. He is survived by his ex-wife Cathy Ratliff, his three daughters Renee Ratliff, Jenna Ratliff, and Erika Ratliff, his mother Anne Shirley Ratliff, siblings Brian Ratliff (Michelle), Rich Ratliff (Traci Ryan), Brenda Carney, Laura Lane, Cece Quinn (Bernie), nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

Ollies wishes were to not have a service but instead remember him as you did. Ollie was a donor and donate he did. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a diabetes cause in his name.
