Obituary of John Bilinski

February 24, 2014 Jack Bilinski, 64, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 with family by his side. He was born on July 13, 1949. Raised in Cohoes , NY and relocated to Syracuse in 2003. He was predeceased by his father John Bilinski Sr and his mother Dorothy Johnson Bilinski. Jack graduated from Cohoes High School. He founded, was President and CEO of 80 Microcomputer Services; one of the first computer dealer/distributor corporations in Albany NY District Area for 14years. Jack retired in January from Verizon Communications as a FIOS Fiber Customer Support Analyst after 7 years. He was a private pilot with 400+ hours as pilot in command. He said he had a peaceful feeling when he was at the controls. His baby was his Caddy! In the summer months he made sure that it had such a shine you could see your reflection. He always wanted one and made it his goal to get one. Jack loved technology. He was a self taught computer wizard. His ability to fix a computer problem was a piece of cake for him. Whenever he saw some new technology he had to have it so he could take it apart and see what made it tick. Loved his computer! Jack was an amazing man with a highly intelligent mind. So caring and loving. Loved his family and was so proud to be a grandpa. We will all miss you so! We Love You!!! Jack is survived by Julie Dixie his 11 yr companion & love of his life. Sons; Joseph J Bilinski of Saratoga, NY, and John Adam Bilinski of Halfmoon, NY; 4 grandchildren; Conner, Lauren, Maddox and Gavin. Brothers; Joseph L. Bilinski of Cohoes, NY and James Bilinski of Loudonville, NY. Several cousins. Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 on Saturday at Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W. Genesee St Syracuse. A celebration of life service will be held following the calling hours. Donations can be made in the donors name to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation to help raise awareness of this lung disease
