February 23,2014 John F. Klocek, 87 of Syracuse and born in Old Forge, PA passed away Sunday.John was retired from Carrier Corp. and was an Army Veteran of WWII serving in Italy. He is a communicant of Sacred Heart Basilica and a member of Sacred Heart Seniors, John loved the New York Yankees and was an avid supporter of the Syracuse Chiefs. He is predeceased by his daughter, Margaret 1996 and is survived by his wife of 62 years, Frances and their children; Jasiu(Susan) Klocek, Theresa(John) Hallinan, Raymond(Richard Royer) Klocek, Andrew(Beth) Klocek; 8 grandchildren, John, Christine Klocek, Kevin, Michael, Robin Hallinan, Daniel, Alison, Benjamin Klocek; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Stanley(Joyce) Klocek; sister, Toni Crawford; several nieces and nephews.
