Nancy Mignosi 69, of Solvay passed away from a battle with cancer. She was born in Brooklyn, New York

She lived in California and then moved to Syracuse, New York to where she worked for the Onondaga County Health Department and then transferred to Long- Term Care Resource Center. She retired after 36 years. 

Nancy had an amazing, caring heart.  She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She absolutely loved spending every minute with them. Even the neighborhood children (who technically) lived with her. She always worried about others and never herself first. She loved doing family events at Shove Park, Camillus, NY, camping with family & friends, and cooking her amazing Italian dinners for her family.

Nancy is predeceased by her father Frank Mignosi( Ann Mignosi) Las Vegas, NV, mother Catherine Assaley ( Richard Assaley) Reno, NV, 3 brothers Frank Mignosi Jr. , Robert Mignosi, and Thomas Mignosi California, a son Anthony Wild Jr., and a daughter Maranda Pitts and grandson Aaron Craven, Syracuse, NY .

Nancy leaves behind 5 daughters, Dawnese Malick of Syracuse, NY, Joanne Wild of California, Nadine Wild (Scott Gasiorowski) of Solvay, NY , Mindy Pitts of Solvay, NY and Melinda Pitts of Syracuse, NY. , 23 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, her sister Suzanne Mignosi of California and many, many other loved ones (especially the neighborhood kids). 

Calling hours will be held this Friday, September 25, 2020 from 5 to 7 pm at Hollis Funeral Home, 1105 W. Genesee St Syracuse, NY.
