Carol,
I am so sorry for the death of Kevin, a deep and painful loss, that you tried for years to prevent. You were his best advocate and in the end, I feel the system failed him by not protecting him, one of our most vulnerable sons.

My heart is heavy. We have lost a sweet soul. I had the privilege to work beside Kevin as his teacher for several years. He taught me so much about making learning relevant and meaningful. I credit Kevin and his perseverance for making me a better teacher. My condolences to Kevin's family- the loss is bigger than words.

My memories of Kevin are when he was a little boy. I saw him every day, I was always at his house visiting his mom. I would baby sit for him and his sister Katie. So long ago, but I feel like it’ was yesterday. Those memories will forever be in my heart. I love you Kevin, you were taken too soon. My prayers are with his family.

Thanks for being a great father to my niece, Charlotte. I'll forever see you within her. You always had a smile to spread across the room and always some corny joke to share l. We all had some amazing times, and all the times I spent the night over in Marcellus, while babysitting Charlotte. Those are all memorable nights I'll cherish forever. Especially when Beth and I and you would fight over music choices. You showed me alot of good music I'll always remember you showed me. Thanks for being a part of our family even when you didn't have to be . ❤

Oh Kev...life with you was always an adventure. Thank you for so many memories like taking me to my first concert and many more after that and for teaching me so many things ❤ I will do my very best to make sure our little girl remembers the loving kind person you were.
