October17, 2012 Pelagia Hujar 94 of Syracuse passed away Wednesday. Pelagia was born in Poland on December 26, 1917 to Ignacego and Zofia Micranow Cielesta. Pelagia was a communicant of Sacred Heart Basilica and retired from the Syracuse Developmental Center. She is predeceased by her husband, Peter J. in 2003 and daughter, MaryLou in 2000. Pelagia is survived by her children; Dorothy (Tom) Clark of Seattle,WA, Peter J.(Marlene) Hujar, Celeste (David) Schaeffer, Thomas Hujar of Bainbridge Island, WA, Tony (Sheila) Hujar; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Edward Glowacki Calling Hours: Sunday 2 to 5pm Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W.
