Josephine A. Schultz, 89, of Syracuse passed away Sunday. Josephine was formerly employed for a brief time at the Key Bank Westside Branch. She was better known for working with her brother William "Doc' Nechay at Doc's Variety Store on Park Avenue. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Basilica, member of Sacred Heart Mother's Club, Rosary Society and Sacred Heart Seniors. Josephine was predeceased by her husband Carl C. Schultz; brother, William "Doc" Nechay; her parents Anthony and Charlotte Nechay. Josephine is survived by her son and daughter in law; David J.and Kathi A. Schultz of Landstuhl, Germany; sister, Elizabeth Wall; brothers in law, Frank and Bernice Schultz and Donald and Barbara Schultz; sister in law' Joan Schultz. Calling Hours: Thursday 4 to 7pm Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W. Genesee Street Syracuse. Funeral Services: Friday 9:30 AM Sacred Heart Basilica. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes.
