Obituary of Mary Magdalene Bordynski (Kalina)

Mary passed away peacefully on August 24, 2019, at the age of 86. Born in Syracuse, Mary was a graduate of Sacred Heart School, Convent School, and Powelson Institute of Business. She worked as a supervisor at The New York Telephone Company. She was deeply dedicated to her faith and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church for over 80 years. Mary was an avid gardener, cat lover, and enjoyed being outside to tend to her flowers. What Mary loved the most was her family and the time spent being a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother (Baba). Mary was predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond, of almost 51 yrs and her sister Patricia J (Kalina) Egolf. She is survived by two wonderful daughters, Deborah (Gregory) Vangellow and Alexandria (Russell) Schwartzbeck, both in the Rochester area; 3 grandsons-Conner & Parker Vangellow and Andrew Schwartzbeck; 2 granddaughters, Madison Vangellow and Elisabeth Schwartzbeck and her nephew, Jason Egolf. Funeral Services: Friday, August 30 at 10:30 AM in The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus. Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes.
