Obituary of Helen Gonzalski

Helen Hurst Gonzalski 82 passed peacefully on Tuesday June 18 surrounded by her loving family. Helen was born and raised in Syracuse. She attended St. Joseph’s Germán grade school and graduated from Vocational High School.Helen was married to Joseph A. Gonzalski, Jr. on September 11, 1954 at St. Stephen’s Slovak Church on Geddes St.

Helen was a homemaker for many years before returning back to school and then accepting a position as a Teaching Assistant in the Syracuse City School District. She worked at both McCarthy and Grant schools. Helen also worked at the Addis Co. and Addis & Dey’s at the Penn Can Mall. Helen was the Secretary-Treasurer of the Sunday Morning Parent-Child Bowling League for many years.Helen was predeceased by her Husband, Joseph A Gonzalski Jr. - (1979), Parents, George and Helen Hurst and Brother, George Hurst

Helen is survived by :Children - Linda Stachnik ,Cindy (Brian) Langdon,

Joseph A Gonzalski III,  Michael (Sara) Gonzalski, David (Teri) Gonzalski and Gary Rozyczko

Grandchildren - Kathleen Stachnik, Scott Stachnik – Mallory, Joanne Langdon,

Brian Langdon, Jr., Mindy Langdon, Lea Gonzalski, Erika Gonzalski, Kayla Gonzalski

Michael Gonzalski, Jr. – Nikki,  Stephanie Gonzalski , Jessica Gonzalski, Conner Gonzalski

Great Grandchildren – Anthony, Zackary,Noah, Mason Jazmyn, Sidney, Kameron, Brooklyn,

McKayla and Cody.
