Obituary of Nancy Ann LaPan

Please share a memory of Nancy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Nancy Ann LaPan, 61, of Fairmount passed away February 20, 2019 after a long battle with Lung Cancer with her family by her side.  Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who brought joy to every person she met. She had a special love for people and animals. Nancy was a member of Family Worship Center for 17 years and loved her church family. Nancy would often help the local homeless and went on several missionary trips to Honduras. Nancy worked as a waitress at several local restaurants over many years. She enjoyed going to bingo, courtroom drama TV, crocheting, sun bathing and dining out. She especially enjoyed lobster, crab legs and steamed clams. She is predeceased by her parents Raymond and Ethel “Chris” Demperio (Harris) and her longtime companion Robert Coon. She is survived by her children Jody (Joshua) Papworth, Maria (Russ) Crandell, Natalie Bryan and Nathon Bryan; her beloved grandchildren Bella, Hampton, Gigi and Alexander; her many fur babies; brothers David (Karen) and Ray (Mary) and many family and friends.  Nancy had several lifelong friends that were also family.  Nancy was the most loving, funny, giving, thoughtful, non-judgmental person you could ever meet.  If you knew her, you loved her.  She had a vivacious personality and she always made people around her smile and made friends everywhere she went. She was one of a kind and will be missed by many.
