Obituary of Theresa D Volcko

Theresa Volcko passed away on February 6, 2019. She was the daughter of Dorotin Volcko and Elizabeth Contos Volcko and was born in East Syracuse, NY where she lived most of her life. Theresa worked at several places throughout her life, starting at Western Union, then the American Cancer Society and finally Meals On Wheels.  Aunt Theresa enjoyed going to family events, being with her large extended family and doing crossword puzzles. She is predeceased by her brothers John, Andrew, Joseph, Frank, William, Paul Volcko and also two sisters Yolanda Kilcoyne & Loretta Hartung. She is survived by one brother, Edward, of Baldwinsville, NY and many nieces and nephews.

Theresa would especially like to thank her nephews Frank (and his wife Anne), Peter, Douglas and Eric Volcko, along with her nieces Karen Dudzinski & Kristin DeWald for all the help and attention they gave as she got older. 

A celebration of Theresa's life will be held on Sunday, February 17th, 1:00-3:00PM at the Syracuse Polish Home, 915 Park Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13204.
