Fred Irving Paschka, age 92, and a WW2 veteran passed away peacefully on  January 24, 2019.He was predeceased by his brothers Robert Paschka and Donald Paschka.  He is survived by his sisterJoan Paschka, his wife Dolores Paschka (Andol) of 68 years, his daughters Gail (Gary Bowman) Donna (Jim Jones), Carol (Mickey Crucitti) Judy (Robert Wossner) and his 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.Fred was a graduate of Seneca Vocational Highschool in Buffalo New York. He was a WW2 veteran serving in Corps of Army Engineers.  Fred was a forty year employee and retiree of Niagara Mohawk which now is National Grid. He was a faithful member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church since 1963 and served the Lord there the on church council, Men’s Group, Deacon board and as a head usher. He enjoyed square dancing, camping, bowling, and golfing where he was known not to be good but fun.A private memorial service will be held for immediate family at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church at 435 South Main St., North Syracuse, New York 23212. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations to Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Fred Paschka’s name to honor his memory would be appreciated.
