My sincerest condolences to Mary, Debbie and Lexi :(
Your unforgettable Father travelled to White Plains, Westchester County, NY to attend my wedding and meet my family 31 years ago as I married his nephew, Billy. Six weeks later he took me under his wing as my new mother-in-law passed away suddently. He handled absolutely everything with love, style and class. Syracuse was a new home for me at age 22; and he helped me more than I can describe. Unemployment was very high many yrs ago while I lived upstate, and he got me my first job as a bank teller on Warren St. Always loving, helpful, smart, classy, and what a sharply dressed man. God rest his unforgettable soul, as I will love him as my Uncle-in-law forever. My love to Debbie & family, Lexi & family, and Mom Mary. Tara Bauer Bordynski

Condolences to the family. I am in Florida and unable to attend the wake and mass. I remember all the fun and crazy times when Ray was teaching me how to ski. We traveled all over NY & Canada on Sundays. Ironic, we missed mass and Ray's boat was named "My Sin". I will see you again my friend, on the slopes, if you are not too busy.

Very sorry to learn of Ray's passing. We considered each other friends at the Syracuse YMCA Athletic Center; and we shared lunch at Eva's European Sweets, a new experience for me. I'll remember Ray fondly. Please accept my sincere sympathy. May he rest in peace.

My dad told me how Ray would buy groceries and leave them at people's houses during the tough years. He did that for my dad's family. Ray was a wonderful man who made the sad times at family funerals tolerable. When my oldest sister died, my family didn't have a lot of money and I'm sure Ray took that into account when my folks settled up. He touched many people, always in a positive way. May God Bless.

Our deep sympathy to the Bordynski family. We were very saddened at the news of Rays passing. It was always a great delight to talk to him on his many visits to our families. He encouraged me in medicine and kept tract of my progress. He was a great asset to the West End of Syracuse and will be greatly missed.

Mary-- We're so saddened to hear of Ray's passing. As you know, we were very good friends and Ray actually drove us at our wedding in 1955. My dad and I were Ray's barbers until I retired. So many memories! We pray for him and for you and your family, Mary. We have been living in Audubon, PA. for 3 1/2 years in a retirement community. Two of our daughters and their families are near us. We hope that you're in good health. We're doing okay and are enjoying our place here. We do miss Syracuse and so many of the friends that we left behind. We'll miss Ray. He was a special person.

To the Family of Ray:
My mom (Jennie Waluszczak) grew up in the same neighborhood as Ray....and we got to know Ray as we grew up thru the many wakes and funerals at the Bordynski Funeral Home. Ray always made sure our family was comforted and was more than a funeral home director...he was like family to all of us.
God blessed all of us with his gentleness and his presence and dignity in our saddest hours.
May God bless all of his family at this sad time in your lives.

I have fond memories of Ray! He used to "sponsor" our youth bowling team many years ago. He was a fixture of the west end and always good to the youth!! As a child my Dad and I would shampoo the rugs at Bordynski Funeral Home. It seems that all of my family relied on Ray to care for their loved ones when needed. He always did a fabulous job. It was a pleasure to have known you Ray!! God Bless!

Alexa, Debbie and family - just wanted to leave a short message saying how sorry we were to hear of Ray's passing. It is hard to lose a parent on the holidays (my father passed on Easter Sunday 2 years ago). You will always be able to remember the good times you had with him. Take care.
