Mary A. (Gocek) Baker, 94 of Syracuse passed away at home Saturday, July 28, 2018, with her children at her side. Mary was born February 7, 1924 to the late Stanislaw and Aniela Gocek. Mary graduated from Vocational High School. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Basilica and a member of The Sacred Heart Seniors. Mary was predeceased by her husband Stephen A. Baker in 1998; sisters, Anna Gocek, Helen Kapelewski and brother, Edward Gocek. Mary is survived by her son; Robert Baker and daughters; Ann Baker and Theresa Baker; sister-in-law; Frances Gocek and several nieces and nephews, cousins and all of her many many friends. Mary enjoyed sewing, crocheting , embroidery and Arts and Crafts. We want to thank the following for all their hard work, dedication and kindness towards our Mother; Lillian, Carol, Melanie at St Camillus; everyone at St Joseph’s wound care services at Northeast Medical Center Fayetteville, Everyone st Hospice of CNY and ALL of Mom’s Doctors.
