Barbara J. Townsend, 73, of Syracuse passed away Friday, July 15, 2016. Barbara retired from the Syracuse City School District where she worked at Seymour Elementary School. Barbara was predeceased by her daughter, Carmella Townsend. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, John; their children; Edward(Julie), Colleen(Joe) McLeod, Peter and Frank Mulvihill, Georgianna(Mike) Bobik and John(Carol) Townsend Jr.; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Calling Hours: Tuesday 4 to 6PM with services following at Hollis Funeral Home.
