Obituary of Daniel Joseph Neville

Daniel J. Neville, 69, of Liverpool, NY, passed away on August 29, 2023. Daniel is survived and missed by his loving wife, Helen (née Samuell) of 48 years, and his children, Jennifer Pluta and Daniel P. Neville. Forever cherished and remembered by his mother, Joan Weisband (née Pound) and stepfather, Edward Weisband; son-in-law Arthur Pluta and two grandchildren, Evangeline and Genevieve; and daughter-in-law Janine Buonomo; siblings and their families, Donna and David Snover and their children, Morgan, Kayla and Lane, and Annette Neville and her son Alex Davie.

Daniel was born on July 24, 1954, at Mitchell Airforce Base, Long Island, NY. He grew up in Vestal and Endicott, NY, and attended Seton Catholic High School in Endicott, NY, where he graduated in 1972.  Daniel and his family settled in Apalachin, NY, in 1981 where he was a long-time employee of both Singer Link and Flextronics International. Prior to his death, Daniel worked at SAAB Inc. in Syracuse, NY.

Some of his greatest joy came from his family. A lifelong outdoorsman, he and his family created many memories while enjoying trips to Upstate New York’s vast forests, streams, and lakes. Daniel particularly enjoyed fishing and spent his entire life visiting Chaumont Bay and, in later years, Brennan Beach, both on Lake Ontario, where he fished and enjoyed the outdoors with his family.  

Daniel will be missed and remembered for his love of music, wit, knack for storytelling, and his love of his family. There will be no services.
