Obituary of Laura Angel Pepper

Laura (Laurie) Angel (Davis) Pepper, 61, lost her long-term battle with chronic health issues on June 1, 2023. She was born in Cohoes, NY on February 25, 1962 and was the third of five daughters to Malcolm and Gladys Davis.

Laurie was a kind and caring person who spent most of her life taking care of others. She attended the Adirondack Community College where she earned her degree and became a registered nurse. Even after no longer practicing as a nurse, she continued to care for others as a home health aide and a caregiver. She was a great friend to many and always lent an ear or offered a shoulder to anyone in need. She had a great love for animals and would make friends with any she met. She loved a good book, especially if it was by her favorite author, Stephen King. She also loved to crochet and lovingly handmade numerous blankets for her children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life centered around her children and grandchildren. Spending time with her family was one of her very favorite things to do and one of her most cherished pastimes.

She is survived by her three children: Michelle (Rose), Michael, and Mitchell (Brandi), her grandchildren: John, Kirsten, Desiree, Cora, and Evelyn, her mother Gladys, four sisters: Debbie, Karen, Sheryl (Mike), and Terri (Mike), many nephews, and a few nieces.

The family will be holding a private memorial at a later time.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider making a donation in Laurie’s name to the Center for Family Life and Recovery at CFLR, 501 Court Street, Utica, NY 13502 or by visiting their website: https://www.whenthereshelpthereshope.com/
