Kathy Jean Slade passed away peacefully on May 28th 2026. Kathy was born to Kay Aubrey and Zenon Dzierwa on October 25th, 1962. She lived the majority of her life in Syracuse and she graduated from Fowler high school. She went on to have several jobs including running her own business and many years working at Target. She married her husband Robert Thomas Slade on June 24th, 1989. Together they share two beautiful children.

Kathy had a long five year battle with cancer, she went through chemotherapy, radiation and many scans, fushions and surgeries. Kathy was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved going out with her girlfriends, spending time in the sun and spoiling her grandchildren.

Kathy is predeceased by her parents, her brother Zenon James and her husband Robert. She is survived by her daughter Joan (Bryan) Gillette and her son Jack (Francine) Slade and her four grandchildren.

The family will be keeping arrangements private.
