Gary Thomas Francis, Sr. Obituary

Gary Thomas Francis, Sr., 75, of Liverpool, NY, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, in Syracuse.


Born in Freeport, Long Island, and raised in Massapequa, Gary proudly served in the United States Navy following high school. He later moved with his family to Syracuse, where he dedicated 30 years of service to the Loretto Nursing Home before his retirement.


Above all else, Gary cherished his family. He found immense happiness and pride in his children and grandchildren, and his unwavering devotion to his loved ones will be deeply missed. Gary will be remembered most for his boundless generosity and his willingness to help anyone in need—whether a neighbor requiring a hand or a friend seeking a listening ear. To know Gary was to know his infectious laugh; it was a sound so full of joy that it could brighten the darkest room and linger long after a conversation ended.


Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife, Beth; his son, Gary Francis,Jr.; his daughter, Kristen; and his cherished grandchildren, Payton and Keira. He also leaves behind his mother, three sisters, and two brothers. Gary was predeceased by his father.


Services: To celebrate Gary’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, May 21st, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at:
