Maynard David Woolman, 72, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, at home with his

loved ones by his side.

Born in Syracuse, New York, he was the son of Palmer and Marion Woolman. Maynard was a

devoted husband to his late wife, Wanda Jean Woolman, with whom he shared many loving years

of marriage. He cherished spending time with his family and friends and will be remembered for

the love he had for those closest to him.

He is survived by his children: Lexcy Cullen; Johnny Owens (Kristen); Venus Davis (John);

Marion Woolman; Loretta Lynn Woolman; Tiffany Woolman (Harry); Tanya Woolman (Ben);

and Maynard David Woolman Jr. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Malik

Garfield, Jaleela Garfield, Khadijah Garfield, Kristeen Frazier, Khrishana Frazier, Deja Davis,

Keith Cullen, Allen Thomas, Lucas Woolman, Sky, Dontae, and many other cherished great-

grandchildren. He is further survived by his sisters, Linda Fortino and Bertha Woolman; and his

brother, Palmer Woolman Jr.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Wanda Jean Woolman; his beloved

son, William Cullen; his beloved grandson, Christopher Garfield; his sister, Diane Woolman; and

his siblings, Helen Woolman and Billy Woolman.

Funeral services will be held at Hollis Funeral Home 1105  West Genesee Street on Wednesday,

February 25, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a repass to follow.
