Bernice Ann Johst Obituary

Bernice was born in Montreal Canada. She got her degree in Nursing from the University of Miami.  There she met her husband James Johst. They were married for 67 years, spending most of their life in Phoenix, NY.  She taught Nursing at Alfred University and later became the Assistant Director of Nursing at Upstate Hospital in Syracuse.  During that time she obtained her American Citizenship.

 


Bernice is survived by her daughter Laura and her son Michael.  As well as three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
