Cynthia Margaret Reschke, 54, passed away peacefully at 2:20 AM on February 17th in Central Square. She was the bride of William Reschke. They were life-long friends, meeting in First Grade, and sharing nearly 16 years of marriage together.Born in Syracuse, New York, she was the daughter of James Finnerty and Diane Napolitano. She attended Saint Matthew's Elementary School and graduated from Paul V. Moore High School.Cynthia was a long-term employee at New Process Gear. She was a hair dresser, baker, and contractor, known for her attention to detail and the care with which she approached every project.She was involved in a variety of ministries, such as One Christian Network (NC), and Vigilant Hope (NC). She was in the process of starting a housing and teaching ministry in Syracuse.An avid traveler, she always held the desire to meet new people and learn about different cultures.Cynthia was known for her tenacity, her incredible faith, and her unwavering positivity. She worked hard, loved fiercely, and never wanted anyone to take pity on her. She was always ready to serve and never stopped praying or believing, even through the hardest years.Cynthia is survived by her husband, William; her son, Samuel; her daughters, Casandra, Eponine and Catherine; her grandchildren, Isaac, Isabelle and Dylan; her parents James (Nancy) Finnerty and Diane (George) Fleming; her brother James (Tonia) Finnerty, nieces, a nephew and countless loving family members.
A celebration of life gathering will be organized for a date yet to be announced.
