Irwin “Butchy” Kingsbury, 80, of Syracuse NY, passed away unexpectedly on October 11th, 2025. Butch, son of Erwin and Bessie Kingsbury, lifelong partner and husband to Eileen Kingsbury filled his last buck tag on Saturday morning and left us shortly thereafter. 

Now united with his twins John & Mary, his survived children, Shelly (Leslie) Perrin, Denise (Jeffrey) Blainey and Jason (Sally) Kingsbury along with 7 grandchildren Craig (Ashley) Perrin, Reece (Jessica) Perrin, Kayla (Tyler) Baker, Kelsey Blainey, Keri Blainey, Nora Kingsbury, Leah Kingsbury, and 9 great grandchildren: Emily, Oliver & Sylus Perrin, Lainey, Addie & Aria Baker, Cal & Luther Perrin, and Eleanor Herholtz all got to make treasured memories with Grampa Butch for Sunday dinners. 

Irwin Kingsbury overcame the incredible struggle of contracting polio as an infant in early life and was tested and triumphed again with colon cancer later in life. Butchy retired from Rollway Bearing in 2000 and has kept busy fishing, tinkering in his wood shop, seeing friends and family, and hunting ever since. 

His future plans include buying something else he doesn’t need, telling you how he really feels about it, and shooting something bigger than a four point! He will be greatly missed by many family and friends. As per Butchy’s wishes, there will be a party for family and friends but no calling hours or funeral services will be held.
