John Charles Hilpl Obituary

John Charles Hilpl, 89, of Philadelphia, Pa went to join the Lord for his

eternal rest on July 14, 2025. John’s wife, Jacqueline, of 68 years had

recently passed on April 28, 2025. Now they are with the Lord for

eternity.

John was one of three children raised in Philadelphia, Pa by Walter and

Della Hilpl. He joined the Navy at an early age and served on the

carriers Antietam and Valley Forge.

John and Jacqueline raised eight children in the Bucks County, Pa area

before moving to Alexandria Bay, NY where they started a real estate

business.

John later went on to become a Navy Reserve Recruiter until he retired

from the military. After retiring from the military, he drove a van for the

Veterans Administration in Syracuse, NY to take Veterans from all over

the North Country of New York to their medical appointments. John

loved the Veterans and they loved him.

John and Jackie will join their daughter Karen who passed from MS on

February 23, 2012.

John is survived by his children, Kevin (Barbara) Clearwater FL, Keith

(Lisa) St Petersburg, Fl, Ken (Jackie) Palm Harbor, FL, Chris, Dexter, NY,

Kathy (David) Blum Riverview, FL, son-in-law John Davidson of Phoenix,

AZ, Sean(Laura) Cadyville, NY and Kimberly Hilpl of Cranford, NJ. He is

also survived by 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

John will be laid to rest this Fall at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St.Petersburg Florida, with his wife Jackie.
