Daniel Tokarz Obituary
Daniel Francis Tokarz 84, of Syracuse passed away on Sunday July 13th at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Lillian Tokarz. They shared 58 years of marriage together.
Born in Skaneateles, NY, he was the son of Frank and Veronica Tokarz. He was the owner/operator of Danny's Towing as well as being employed by Centro bus and the New York State Fair.
Daniel was honorably discharged from the 10th Mountain Division of the US Army as Sergeant (E5) in 2001. He was a member of the Syracuse American Legion Post 1276 as well as a volunteer firefighter. His hobbies included amateur radio and driving his firetruck in local parades.
He is survived by his wife Lillian, his two sons David and Paul, his sister Nancy, and his grandchildren Brooke and Morgan.
The gravesite service will be at St. Mary of the Lake in Skaneateles, NY and are private.
