Donna Quattrone (Kazel), 71 passed away peacefully with her children Erin Rawlins, Angeline Schaefer, and Philip Quattrone by her side on June 15th 2025. She was born in Syracuse, late son of Robert and Beverly Kazel. She is predeceased by her two sisters Wendy Kazel and Penny Gigliotti, and her brothers David Kazel, Kevin Kazel, Kenny Kazel and Deanne Kazel. Surviving are her brother Rick Kazel, grandchildren, Seth Schaefer, Halie Rawlins, Mekayla Schaefer, Gabriel Haley, Jayden Rawlins, Sophia Brown, Dominique Brown, Savannah Haley, Grayson Schaefer, and one great grandchild Carson Miles. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Donna had a bold and unforgettable spirit and her life was anything the ordinary she was clever, resourceful, and never afraid to find her own way, even when the path wasn’t clear she always had good intentions. She loved her children deeply, even if life sometimes made it hard for her to show in traditional ways. She went out of her way to care for loved ones going through sickness.  Her humor, resilience and survival instincts, carried her through some of life’s toughest storms. Those who knew Donna and Will miss her the most will recall how wonderful she was with all of their little children, how delicious her cookies were and how she could make a good meal out of nothing. She always extended a lot of love and warmth. May she rest in peace, finally free and at ease. A celebration of life will happen later this summer.
