Obituary of Molly A Chura

Molly Anne Chura, 55, of Liverpool NY passed away on May 31st after a brief illness at Crouse Irving Hospital.  Born in Liverpool and a graduate of Liverpool High School in 1988.  Molly followed her passion of caring for others and attended Crouse School of Nursing graduating as a Registered Nurse.  She worked at both St. Joseph’s Health and Crouse Irving Memorial Hospitals.

Molly had a passion for reading, writing, baking, watching scary movies, and doing random acts of kindness for anyone around her. But most of all, Molly loved to spend time with her daughter Lauren, the most precious gift she ever received. A favorite tradition was to attend the New York State Fair together. Bailey was her 11-year-old Pomeranian that provided her energy and unconditional comfort when needed.

Molly is survived by her greatest blessing, her daughter Lauren DeMarco (Brittany Rodriguez).  Molly also leaves behind three siblings Tim (Barb) Chura, Mike (Anne) Chura, Kathleen Chura (Nancy Chalone), nephew Kevin Chura and niece Meghan (Dann) Whitmore. 

Molly was predeceased by her parents, Thomas J. Chura, and Jean T. Chura.
