Obituary of Dorothy D. Raynor

Please share a memory of Dorothy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Dorothy DeMay Raynor, a shining light, passed away May 15th at St. Joseph's Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. She was the partner of Mike Martino and together they shared over 20 incredible years. Dorothy and Mike's kindness and generosity inspired those around her. Born in Syracuse, New York, she was the daughter of Dorothy Michels DeMay and Gordon DeMay. She graduated from East Syracuse and her remarkable career at AT&T was marked by her dedication as an operator and her promotion to supervisor. She found joy in gardening, dancing, and bowling and her passion for scratch-offs at the donut shop was unmatched. She found solace in reading and nothing brought her more peace than sitting in the sun with a good book.

She is survived by her four children: Kevin J. Bennie and his partner Brian Stuttle, Kathy Lockman, Stephen Bennie and his wife Dodi Bennie and Sandy Paninski. Sister Roxanne DeMay and her husband Kenneth Rowe. Her seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren were blessed by her loved. Her memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her.

Per her request, there will be no services.
