Rawley Andrew Torrance of Marcellus, NY, passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 70. Born in Syracuse, NY, on August 28, 1954, Rawley led a life full of service, adventure, and deep love for his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, A.C. and Betty Torrance, as well as his brother, Willie Torrance, and sister, Lilly Moore. He is survived by his loving sisters, Betty Parker and Linda Torrance.

Rawley is also survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Pamela Torrance, and their children: Nathan Torrance (Patty Rao), Christopher Torrance (Leesa Torrance), and Shawna Torrance. He was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Rawley served 20 years in the United States Air Force, a career that took him across the U.S. and other countries, where he made many lifelong friends. After his military service, he worked with Alza Pharmaceutical, the U.S. Post Office, and Bristol Myers-Squibb.

For the past 25 years, Rawley made his home in Marcellus, NY, where he was a beloved part of the community.

He will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts and memories of all who knew and loved him. 

Rawley's funeral service with Military Honors will be held on May 27th 2025, 1:00 PM at Onondaga Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 4069 Howlett Hill Road, Syracuse NY 13215.Seating is limited in the chapel.
