Obituary of Wilfredo Benitez Duvergel

Wilfredo Benitez Duvergel, 64, passed away on March 31st in his home. He was Born in Santiago Cuba to Fernando Duvergel and Lourdes Benitez. He accomplished 12th grade and graduated from trade school welding while still in Cuba , He came to America in 1995 he stayed in NYC before coming to Syracuse where he met his ex wife Kathryn Duvergel in 1999. Wilfredo enjoyed being outside and always being on the move he’ll be remembered for the way he was so stubborn, but always so loving at the same time. He is survived by his sons Anthony Duvergel, Manny Duvergel and Wilfredo Duvergel. Also by his daughters Amaria Duvergel, Yissel Duvergel, Dayana Duvergel and his grandson Marcos Duvergel.

The funeral services will be held on Thursday April 3, 2025 at the hours 10 am - 11am at Hollis funeral home 1105, West Genesee St, with a burial at Loomis Hill Cemetery at 12 pm.
