Virginia Korzeniewski Majka,103 years young, passed away on March 28, 2025 at her home in Camillus NY. She will join her husband of 63 years, Walter. Virginia a communicate of the Basilica at Sacred Heart in Syracuse, spread love and kindness everywhere. She thanks Father Andrew Baranski and Deacon Mike Casey for their guidance and prayers on her journery to Heaven. 

Virginia worked heavy military at General Electric for 31 years. She also worked as a Rosie the Riveter during WWII. 

Virginia was predeceased by husband Walter Majka, her parents Mary Ann and Eugene Korzeniewski, her siblings Mike ,Ed, Stanly and Mary Rose. She is survived by daughter Dolores Sanford {paul}, son John Majka {gloria] and her cherished grand children, Leslie and Christopher Sanford. And nephew Dominick Warner. Virginia has a special place in her heart for her caregivers. They were her angels. They all said she gave them more than they gave to her, Virginia's kindness and love will be missed by many.

Calling hours will be held Monday April 7th from 8:15 am - 9:15 am at Sacred Heart Basilica: 927 Park Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am.

Her burial will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes.
