Gary Bradshaw Obituary

If laughter is the best medicine, then Gary “Buck” Bradshaw’s family and friends will

heal in no time. Sadly, Gary Bradshaw, 70, of Cicero passed away peacefully at home,

surrounded by his family. To know Gary was to love him; he touched countless lives in

many ways.

Gary was an avid and passionate hunter, known for displaying several prized hunts on

the walls. He spent much of his free time hunting game in the wilderness with his

buddies. Gary’s love of golf truly defined him; he was a proud member of the Rogues

Roust Golf Course and spent as many days as possible there with his golf family.

Additionally, Gary proudly held the legacy of being a two-time state champion wrestler

from CNS High School.

Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Houseman; his father, Richard

Bradshaw; his mother figure, Marian Patrick; and his brothers, Richard and Mark

Bradshaw. He is survived by his wife, Helen (Robinson) Bradshaw; his children,

Nichole, Kadie, and Hunter; and his dogs and granddog, whom he cherished.

Gary fought an exceptionally courageous battle. He was always known as a “tough

guy,” which remained true until the end. Gary wished for no traditional services to take

place; however, the family will hold a celebration of life in his honor on Sunday, March 9,

2025 from 1 – 4 pm at The Blarney Stone located at 314 Avery Ave, Syracuse, NY

13204 for loved ones to pay their respects.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Crouse Hospital,

particularly the remarkable ICU nursing staff and the Palliative Care team, who provided

such compassionate care and comfort. In lieu of flowers, kindly send donations to the

American Cancer Society or any animal rescue you choose.
