Frances C. Klocek passed away Tuesday. February 25, 2025. Born in Syracuse, NY on April-14, 1928 on

the west side of the city where she graduated from St Lucy’s School. Frances was a communicant of

Sacred Heart Basilica and a member of Sacred Heart Seniors. Frances briefly worked at Metropolitan

Life Insurance and Kresge’s department store before Marrying June-1, 1951. She is predeceased by her

parents Frances and Stanley Omilanowicz, siblings Dorothy Keehfus, Florence Dabrowski, Stanley

Omilanowicz and her beloved husband John F and daughter Margaret.

Frances enjoyed hosting family gatherings and spending time in the kitchen making Polish food, baking

cookies, pies, sewing and sometimes waitressing at catered events. She is survived by her children

Jasiu(Susan) Klocek, Theresa (John) Hallinan, Andrew(Beth) Klocek and Raymond; 8 grandchildren, John, Christine,

Kevin, Michael, Robin, Daniel, Alison and Benjamin; 12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews

and sister in-laws Joyce Klocek and Antoinette Crawford.

Calling hours: 8:30 AM Monday,March 3rd, in The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Mass of Christian will follow at

9:30 am. 

Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes
