Barbara Omicinski Obituary

Barbara Ann Omicinski, 81,  a life-long resident of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on February 4.  Barbara was born on September 6,1943 to the late Walter and Julia Omicinski. She was predeceased by the love of her life Fritz Kucinski.


Barbara retired from a long career at New York Telephone.  She was a member of Transfiguration Church and Syracuse Cinephile Society,   Barbara and Fritz enjoyed travelling including trips to Disney World ,Wildwood NJ and Pennsylvania Dutch Country.  Every year, they spent many days at the New York State Fair. Barbara also enjoyed playing golf, gardening and collecting cow objects.


Barbara had a great love of animals and was very involved with the feral cat community, welcoming many of them into her home. 


Barbara was predeceased by a brother John and sister Suzanne.  She is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Mass: Tuesday10 am at Transfiguration Church, 740 Teall Ave Syracuse


Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery Syracuse
