Karen Sears Obituary
Karen C. Sears, 79, of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Karen was born in Syracuse, NY, to the late Karl and Anna (Kearney) Cook on August 22, 1945. She worked as a telephone operator for AT&T for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with family watching movies, sharing good food, celebrating birthdays and holidays.
Karen is survived by her Daughters, Donna (Eric) Hamilton, Victoria (Daniel) DiLucchio, Veronica Conway; Grandchildren, Donald, Dylan, Alexis, and Alonna (Noah); Sisters, Anne Cook-Rogers, Mary (Larry) Battams; Sister-in-law, Rose Heffernan, and several nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald L. Sears; Parents, Karl, and Anna Mae Cook; Sister, Nancy M. Cook.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt, NY, on July 29, 2025.
