On July 10th, William “Willie” Holbert peacefully passed away at his home in Jordan after a long illness, with his loving wife by his side.  

A kind and friendly man, all who knew Willie would attest to his high character, great sense of humor, and love of farm animals, dogs and children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, fixing up old snowmobiles and small engine repair. Willie worked at several farms in the area since he was a boy, and had a well-earned reputation for hard work and hard play.  Willie was known as a man of faith, a loving husband, dutiful son, and “the fun Uncle.” He is survived by his wife Diane (Ransier) Holbert, his mother, Beverly Holbert, and an extended family of nephews, great nephews and nieces, siblings, cousins, in-laws and many dear friends who are grieving the passing of this wonderful man.  

  A Celebration of Willie's Life will be held on Saturday July 27 at 1:00 PM by Pastor Matt Binkewicz at the Elbridge Firehouse. Afterwards, friends and family are invited to join together for a buffet until 4 PM.
