Anthony J "Tony" Palermo Obituary

Anthony (Tony) J. Palermo passed away April 13, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Isabella (Pizzi) Palermo.


Anthony graduated from CBA, attended Lemoyne College and received a business degree from Parson's College, Iowa. 


Tony entered the US Army, August 8, 1969, and was deployed to Vietnam where injuries caused him to be placed on temporary disability retirement and was officially retired April 1, 1973 as a Specialist Four. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and a Vietnam Medal.


He retired from GMAC as a supervisor after 30 years of service.


He is survived by his widow Marilyn (Davis), three sons Michael, Brian (Jose'), Joseph (Darya) and daughter Andrea (Robert) Jerome, two granddaughters and a grandson.


At Tony's request there will be no services.


Ashes will be placed in Arlington National Cemetery.
