Joel Henebry, 72, passed away on April 5, 2024 at the VA Hospital in Syracuse NY. Joel served four years at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi Mississippi.  

Joel was the husband of Elizabeth Henebry. They shared 50 years in marriage together and they recently celebrated that anniversary on a cruise to Alaska last year.

Born in Mahopac NY, Joel was the son of Dorothy and James Henebry. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy NY with an MBA in Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Systems Engineering. 

He was retired from Hewlett Packard/ Agilent. 

He was a member of the Syracuse Corvette Club. He enjoyed driving his Corvette on road courses, boating,  snowmobiling and using his tractor. 

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, caring for others and "Telling it like it is!"

He is survived by his wife Beth, sister Robin (David) brother Kevin (Mary Ann) brother David (Elizabeth) , brother-in-law John Ross, sister-in-law Jodie Ross, niece Jen Baker (Matthew), great niece Addi Baker, great nephew Ryder Baker. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
