Obituary of Ardean Rae Orr

Ardean Rae Orr, 65, passed away at Upstate University Hospital on February 13, 2021. She was the widow of Thomas M. Orr. They shared 40 years of marriage together.

Born in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of Santo (Sam) and Judith (Davoli) Russo. She first attended Buffalo State University where she and Thomas met. After raising their eight children she obtained her Associates Degree in Art from Onondaga Community College. She was then employed as a receptionist in the Art Department at Syracuse University.

She was a member of Forward Point Church and frequently practiced her faith in, and worship to, Jesus Christ through her artwork. She will always be remembered for the love and care she gave to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Michael, Sarah, Dannah, Joshua, Deborah (Priyantha) Fernando, Bethany, Rylah, and Joel, grandchildren Terrell Jr., William, Iona, Eliana, and Helena, sister Rhea and brother Roger. She was predeceased by her husband as well as her mother and father.

The memorial service will be held on March 6^th at 10 am at Forward Point Church, 2384 James St, Syracuse, NY 13206 (Palace Theatre).
