Obituary of Anders Anderson Butler Jr

Anders A. Butler, Jr., 48, passed away suddenly at his residence in Fort Lauderdale on January 2, 2020. Born in Syracuse, NY, Andy graduated from West Genessee High School.
He received his BS in Psychology from SUNY Buffalo, and his Master of Psychology from Georgia State University. He was also a registered nurse, doing what he loved most by caring for residents in the Ft . Lauderdale area.
Andy was a long time member of Troop D Veterans, Inc. of the Cavalry Club on Troop K Road in Manlius, NY.
Andy was predeceased by his maternal grandparents; C. Benjamin and Lee (DiMauro) Ridley of Syracuse, and his paternal grandparents; John G. and Jane (Burns) Butler of Syracuse, and by his uncles John G. Butler, Jr., and John M. Maloney. He is survived by his parents, Joanne (Ridley) and Greg Pacicca of Solvay, and Anders and Deborah L. (McWhorter) Butler of Onondaga Hill, his sisters Deanna L. Doody, Elizabeth (Joseph) Osucha and Deborah A. Butler, his brothers Thomas(Christina) Butler and James (Clare) Butler. In addition Andy Jr is survived by aunts and uncles; Benjamin “Bud” and Janine Ridley, Barbara Butler, Janet Maloney-Brobst and Bernie Brobst, James Langley and Eileen Butler, and William Riley Butler. Andy Jr. is survived by nieces and nephews Charles and Benjamin Ridley III, Kayla Butler Owens, Michael Butler, Sarah and Angela Doody, Aidan James Butler, Aurora Jane and Leon Joseph Osucha, and Faye Elizabeth Butler, and grand niece Everleigh Bluebell Bonnell.
Vistation: Friday 9 to 10 AM in Holy Cross Church 4112 E. Genesee St Syracuse New York 13214 with Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM.
Burial: St Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt
