Homer G. Kelley, 89, formerly of Tully, NY passed peacefully at the V.A. hospital on Sunday 9-18-16. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in both the Atlantic and Pacific Theatres on the LST572 & LST H929. He traveled the world defending our country. He is predeceased by the following: Wife Reta Kelley. First wife Addie Mae Kelley. Sons Randy, Edward and Patrick Kelley. Step daughters Eilleen Carr & Diane Chrisjohn. He is survived by his daughters Terri (Paul) Levasseur, with whom he resided with for several years in Camillus, NY, Vicky and Belle of Massena, NY, stepdaughter Freda (Jim) Clark of Utah, sons Larry of LaFayette, Mitch of Homer and Danny of Massena, stepsons Gary Glasby of Skaneateles and Albert Glasby of Washington, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was a well known member of the LaFayette VFW who leaves behind many that will never forget his stories and his smiles. Homer’s celebration of life will take place at the Lafayette VFW on Saturday, 9/24/16 from 1-5. The burial will take place in Massena at a later date. He is forever in our hearts.
